Nuby Beaker Review

We've spent a small fortune on sippy cups, beakers and bottles since Freddie was born.

The majority leak and as a parent, there is nothing more frustrating than a leaky beaker. Many a time we've been caught out with spillages on Freddie's clothing when a beaker has failed to live up to it's claims of 'non spill'.

For the last few months we've been using a Nuby Insulated Cool Sipper Beaker.

It claims to be:

Perfect for the transition to open cup drinking
Suitable from 18 months plus
9oz/270ml
4 colour options available
Insulated beaker, keeps drinks cooler for longer
Touch Flo Technology
Wide and more robust silicone spout
Encourages natural drinking action and oral development
Soft silicone rim
BPA Rim

Freddie is only 17 months but we've been using it for a couple of months with no problems. He hasn't had a bottle since he was 11 months old but he finds comfort in a bedtime 'milkies' as he calls it but using an open cup is problematic because he tends to be a bit clumsy pre-bedtime. This beaker combats those problems and allows F to have his bedtime milk without worry.

I'm also safe in the knowledge that he can take this beaker to bed and the Touch Flo technology means that it won't release the liquid until it's in the child's mouth. No more spillages or wet bedding to worry about.

It's big enough to hold enough liquid to keep F hydrated all day and the insulation means that his water won't go lukewarm on hot days. (What are they I hear you ask?!) The different designs are also astheticaly pleasing and F loves looking at the pictures whilst he's having his drinks.

I've found that they are also very was to clean as they don't have lots of 'valves' and additional bits to take off to clean which almost always get lost.

Overall, I think this beaker is second to none. It hasnt shown any signs of the rest wearing or beginning to leak. It is also be very durable and resistant to Freddie's love of throwing it repeatedly out of his pushchair.

The only thing that may be a problem is that it doesn't have a lid. Although this isn't a problem for us as F is older and I find a quick clean with a babywipe is all that's needed for his developed immune system.

If you are looking for a beaker for a toddler that actually doesn't leak like it claims too then this is the one for you.

We rate this beaker;

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We bought so many at first and now it's lovely to have one (although we do have every colour!) that I know isn't going to wet Freddie through!
